Data security
We protect personal data using a combination of technical and organisational safeguards. Personal information is stored in encrypted databases using AES-256 encryption at rest, and all data transmitted between your device and our systems is encrypted using TLS (HTTPS).
Our infrastructure is hosted on managed cloud platforms that apply regular operating system and security patching. User access is protected using one-time password (OTP) authentication, and we apply anti-bot, rate-limiting, logging, and monitoring controls to help prevent automated abuse, unauthorised access, and misuse.
Will content is processed automatically by our systems and is not reviewed or edited by us as part of the standard service.
Data retention
Information stored in our systems is retained securely to allow you to access and update your information in the future, including to reflect changes in your personal circumstances or wishes. This enables you to update and re-generate your will at a future time if your circumstances change, which is a service we provide at no additional ExpatWill.ae charge.
Information is retained until you request its deletion, except where specific categories of information (such as payment and accounting records) must be retained to comply with legal or regulatory requirements.

You remain in control of your information and may request access, correction, or deletion at any time, subject to applicable legal requirements.
